Made up of twenty short scenes with different tones and subjects with no link between them, this kaleidoscopic tale seems to randomly make its way through comedy, drama, social chronicle, horror and surrealism with a common denominator: human nature against the unusual and the chaotic. Cavestany presents a myriad of situations where you never know what to expect. |

Back in 1981 Robert Langdon received the ‘Knights Cross of the Order of Queen Isabella’ for services to Spain overseas.Robert Langdon’s theory makes sense to some but not to others. A presentation by Donna Peters | ||
Where: MacKenzie Room, St Johns in the City, Willis Street (Entry from Dixon St.) |
Donna Peters will give an illustrated talk about her recent tour to “España Verde” (Green Spain) which is the North Western part of Spain where few foreign tourists go. There the influence of the Atlantic Ocean brings abundant rain, hence the area is extremely verdant. The country-side is very mountainous and the coastline is spectacularly rugged. The towns and cities are also historically and culturally notable, not least of all Santiago de Compostela and the Basque city of Donostia/San Sebastian. A light supper with sangria will be served as usual. Don't miss it! |
